Cultural Affairs Bureau postpones three subsidy programmes


Due to the catastrophe caused by typhoon Hato, the Cultural Affairs Bureau decided to extend the application period of three subsidy programmes, including the “Financial Support for Local Association Activities/ Cultural Projects Programme”, the “Talent Training Programme in Arts Management” and the “Community Arts Projects Support Programme” for 2018, until 18 September.

The application for the “Financial Support for Local Association Activities/ Cultural Projects Programme”, the “Talent Training Programme in Arts Management” and the “Community Arts Projects Support Programme” for 2018 will open soon. Applicants may submit all required documents to the Cultural Affairs Bureau, located at the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building, at Tap Siac Square, from 6 to 8, from 11 to 15 and on 18 September, from 9:30am to 7:30pm (including lunch hours). The Programme’s regulations and application forms can be obtained at the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building located at Tap Siac Square or can be downloaded at the IC’s website (www.icm.gov.mo).

In addition, the associations selected for the 2017 Programme who need to handle post-typhoon recovery works are allowed to postpone or cancel their activities, originally scheduled to be launched in September, based on real circumstances. The procedures will be subject to the guidelines for “2017 Financial Support for Local Association Activities/ Cultural Projects Programme”.
