Macao Museum offers free admission on Tuesdays from July

The Macao Museum (MM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is devoted to promoting the history of Macao. Starting from July, the Macao Museum will improve the quality of its services by offering free admission to the public on Tuesdays.

The MM has been offering free admission to visitors on the 15th of every month. In order to benefit more visitors, the Museum will now offer free admission every Tuesday from 1 July. The measure aims to attract residents and tourists to visit the Macao Museum when visiting the two major attractions in the Historic Centre of Macao, the Ruins of St Paul’s and the Mount Fortress. Through different types of exhibitions, visitors can learn more about Macao’s history.

The Macao Museum is open from 10am to 6pm (the ticket office closes at 5:30pm). For enquiries about the Museum and the opening hours of the affiliated galleries, please contact the Macao Museum through tel. no. 2835 7911 during office hours, or visit the MM website at www.macaumuseum.gov.mo.
