The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, is to visit Hong Kong from tomorrow to Saturday (1 July), to attend the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
As invited by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, Mr Leung Chun-ying, Mr Chui will attend a banquet hosted by the HKSAR Government to welcome President Xi Jinping. Mr Chui will also during his visit attend the inauguration of the fifth administration of the HKSAR, and see a variety performance marking the 20th anniversary.
Accompanying Mr Chui to Hong Kong will be the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Chan Hoi Fan; the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Leong Vai Tac; and the Director of the Protocol, Public Relations and External Affairs Office, Mr Fung Sio Weng.
During Mr Chui’s absence, the Secretary for Security, Mr Wong Sio Chak, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
