Jointly managed by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the Sports Bureau, and the Institute for Tourism Studies, under the governance of the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao S.A.R. Government, Anim’Arte NAM VAN’s “Graffiti Display Area” will be redecorated by local art group GANTZ 5 starting from 1 July (Saturday) under a new theme, “Midsummer”.
In order to develop the cultural atmosphere of Anim’Arte NAM VAN and beautify the facilities of the Nam Van Lake area, IC has been collaborating with GANTZ 5 since May last year inviting the group to design creative graffiti for the “Graffiti Display Area” at Anim’Arte on a quarterly basis. All are welcome to visit and take pictures of the current graffiti creation themed “Midsummer.
In addition, the “Nam Van Lake Craft Market”, organized by IC, will be held on Saturdays and Sundays, from 2pm to 9pm, at Anim’Arte NAM VAN. During this event , a variety of handicraft workshops will be held; the public can register online in advance or on-site .
The current exhibitions “Macao Artist Society Youth Committee Member’s Exhibition 2017” and “Sou Leng Fong Ceramic Art Exhibition” held at the Lakeside Gallery S1 and S2 room in Anim’Arte NAM VAN, will be extended until 23 July (Sunday). The exhibitions are open to the public from 11am to 10pm daily at Nam Van Lakeside Plaza, located at Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van, and the artworks are available for sale. Admission is free.
