New travel convenience privileges for holders of the Macao Special Administrative Region Passport and Macao Special Administrative Region Travel Permit

Macao SAR Travel Permit

After negotiations with relevant authorities of the below mentioned countries by the Identification Services Bureau, holders of the Macao SAR Passport and Macao SAR Travel Permit are granted with the following travel convenience privileges:

Holders of the Macao SAR Passport visiting the Islamic Republic of Iran can obtain a visa upon arrival at Gheshm Island, Kish Island, Mashhad, Esfahan, Shiraz International Airport, Tabriz and Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport for a maximum stay of 30 days.

Holders of the Macao SAR Passport visiting the Republic of Guinea Bissau can obtain a visa upon arrival at the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport for a maximum stay of 90 days.

Holders of the Macao SAR Travel Permit visiting the Republic of Palau can obtain a visa upon arrival for a stay of 30 days, and can be extended to a maximum of 90 days.

At present, a total of 132 countries or territories have agreed to grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to Macao SAR Passport holders, while 14 countries or territories have agreed to grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to Macao SAR Travel Permit holders.
