Environmental Projects Online Matching Platform “Green Exchange” to be officially launched on March 31

“Green Exchange” environmental projects online matching platform is coming soon.

Aiming to develop the role of Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (MIECF) as a platform for co-operation and exchange between the environmental industry in the Pan-Pearl River Delta and their counterparts in the European Union and Macao SAR, and to promote the technology transfer among Macao, the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region and other countries and regions, in particular the exchanges with EU on advanced environmental technology, as well as to strengthen co-operation in the environmental industry, the “Green Exchange”, an environmental projects online matching platform, will be official launched on March 31.

Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), Guangdong Association of Environmental Protection Industry (on behalf of the Secretariat of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region Environmental Industry), the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Macau European Chamber of Commerce, Macao Association of environmental Protection Industry, Macau Ecological Society and Macau Energy Savings Association have jointly set up an online matching platform for environmental projects, designated as “Green Matching”, to boost the development of regional green economy and thus create more business opportunities and push forward the technology transfer, for the benefit of all parties involved.

The official launching of the “Green Exchange” environment projects online matching platform will take place at 5:45 p.m., at the Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition 2017 (2017MIECF). Enterprises from Macau, the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region and the European Union which intend to supply environmental projects and technologies, as well as companies looking for environmental projects and technology form the above regions can be registered in IPIM´s online business matching website – http://bm.ipim.gov.mo, so as to upload or browse environmental projects in the “Green Exchange”. The said online business matching platform is available in both desktop and mobile versions, making it easy for login and browsing.
