The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, will attend the opening of the 5th Session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) on 5 March in Beijing.
During his visit to the capital, from 3 to 6 March, Mr Chui will also meet with officials of the Ministry of Education and of the General Administration of Sport of China, to exchange views on further cooperation between the Macao Special Administrative Region and the ministries.
Officials travelling with Mr Chui on the visit will include: the Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive’s Office, Ms O Lam; the Director of the Government Information Bureau, Mr Chan Chi Ping; and the Director of the Protocol, Public Relations and External Affairs Office, Mr Fung Sio Weng.
During Mr Chui’s absence, the Secretary for Administration and Justice, Ms Chan Hoi Fan, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
