The Office of the Secretary for Security issued a statement on Wednesday (15 February) in response to media enquiries about Kim Jong Nam and his family. In response to these enquiries, the Office stated the following:
Macao’s security authorities have been paying close attention to the development of the case. The security authorities continue making their utmost efforts – in a lawful manner – to protect the safety and legitimate rights of all Macao residents, visitors and people staying in Macao. The security authorities would neither comment nor disclose any information regarding individual cases.
