Patane Library reopens to the public on Wednesday (27 September)

Patane Library

Due to the impact of typhoon “Hato” last month, the facilities, electrical system and air conditioning equipment of the Patane Library of the Cultural Affairs Bureau were severely damaged. The repair, maintenance and inspection works are now concluded and therefore the Library will reopen to the public on Wednesday, 27 September.

The Patane Library, located at No. 69-81, Rua da Ribeira do Patane, in Macao, covers an area of around 1130m2 distributed by three floors, providing approximately 150 reading seats. In addition to the newspaper and magazine reading services, the Library also provides other services, such as access to the general and children’s collections and lending of audio-visual materials. The Library is open from 2pm to 8:30pm on Mondays, and from 9:30am to 8:30pm from Tuesdays to Sundays, except on public holidays. For enquiries, please contact IC through tel. no. 2825 9220 or 2825 9221, during office hours, or visit the Macao Public Library website at www.library.gov.mo.
