The Government is – with effect from today until 7 February 2018 – accepting new applications for public housing units.
Public housing refers to units leased by the Government to low-income families and those in adverse circumstances.
Eligible permanent residents can submit their application, either collectively as a family or on an individual basis, to the Housing Bureau during the above period.
Applicants must be: 18 years old or above; holders of an identity card indicating they are a Macao permanent resident; and must ordinarily have been resident in Macao for a continuous period of not fewer than seven years.
To qualify for application, the monthly income and assets held by eligible permanent residents or family groups of eligible permanent residents, must not exceed the following values in patacas:

Application documents can be obtained at more than 40 locations across the city or via the Housing Bureau website (http://www.ihm.gov.mo). Applications must be submitted in person to the Bureau and appointments for this can be scheduled online at https://booking.ihm.gov.mo.
