The application for re-evaluation of the Performance Pledge 2017 of the Marine and Water Bureau was approved by the Public Services Evaluation Committee in September. The Bureau was awarded a “pass” in the re-evaluation, which is valid until 5 September 2019.
To enhance service quality and provide more pledged services to the public, the Bureau launched the first quality indicator of “Booking for Guided Tour of the "Water Resources Interactive Exhibition Hall" and “Provision of Technical Advice on Inspection of Boilers/Pressure Vessels” in the re-evaluation, as well as applying for the adjustment of the quality indicators of “Application for Free Visit to the Maritime Museum” and “Application for Group Ticket Discounts of Maritime Museum” , thus increasing the pledged service items from 14 to 16 and the quality indicators involved from 35 to 37.
The Bureau will continue to uphold the policy vision of people-oriented so that all the pledged services will be able to remain at an expected achievement rate, providing the public with better services in areas of maritime affairs and water resources.
