International conference on Macao’s legal reforms in global context to open at UM next Monday

The Tenth International Conference on the Legal Reforms of Macau in the Global Context – Gaming Law will open at UM next Monday

The Tenth International Conference on the Legal Reforms of Macau in the Global Context – Gaming Law, organised by the Centre for Law Studies of the University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Law, will be held on Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December at UM. All are welcome.

During the event, scholars and experts from Macao, Vietnam, South Korea, Portugal, France, and the United States will deliver speeches. The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including ‘Gaming Contracts and Games of Chance’, ‘Games of Chance in Particular’, ‘Betting and Lotteries’, ‘Expansion of Gaming in Asia’, and ‘Illicit Gaming’.

The event will be held in the Lecture Hall E4-G062, UM. Simultaneous interpretation into Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and English will be available. The first day of the conference will last from 9:00am to 6:30pm, the second day from 9:30am to 7:00pm. For enquiries, please email to jessicachou@umac.mo.
