UM, United Nations Commission to co-hold conference on international trade law

UM and the United Nations Commission will jointly hold a conference on international trade law

The UNCITRAL-UM Joint Conference 2017 titled ‘Modernisation of National Commercial Laws and the Role of Legal Harmonisation in International Commerce’ will be held on 11 December and 12 December in the Lotus Room of the World Trade Center Macau. The event is co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). This year’s event also receives support from World Trade Center Macau.

During the two-day conference, approximately 40 experts and scholars from Australia, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Japan, Singapore, India, Bangladesh, mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao will discuss various contemporary and emerging issues in the areas of international trade law and commercial law.
