IFT holds Open Day on 7 Jan

Local singer, Kelvin Shen, performed for the event at his alma mater

On 7 January, the Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) held the Open Day at IFT Mong-Há Campus. Through various activities, visitors were able to get to know more about the Institute’s teaching philosophy, learning facilities and environment. The general public was welcome to attend the Open Day, and high school students who were interested in joining IFT, do not miss the chance!

All the facilities in the campus were open to public during the Open Day, coordinators and students of all programmes were stationed at different teaching and training facilities to meet with the visitors, introducing the programmes and admission information. The Institute also invited its alumni who are now local singers: Kelvin Shen, Susan Choi and Alex Ao Ieong to perform a mini concert. Other activities included: students and alumni sharing, tray race competition, dining etiquette and wine tasting workshop, outdoor BBQ etc. Participants joining the event could know more about IFT’s campus life in a relaxing and easy atmosphere.

During the Open Day, IFT students showcased programme features in different classrooms, with IFT’s philosophy that theory combines practice, the event not only allowed IFT students to learn team work and put what they have learnt in classes into practice, but also shared their study experiences with the prospective students in attendance.

The application period for IFT’s daytime bachelor degree programmes runs until 19 January inclusive. For more information about admission and full scholarship opportunity, please visit our website www.ift.edu.mo or dial 2856-1252 for enquiries.
