Contests of the Communications Museum

Creative Saving Box Construction Contest

In order to encourage savings and proper use of money, as well as motivate more young people to participate in cultural creative activities, the Macao Postal Savings (CEP) and the Communications Museum are organizing the “Creative Savings Box Contest” under the theme “Moon Festival”. All full-time students of Macao are welcomed to participate individually either in the Children or Youth Group. Each participant is required to design and construct a 3‑dimensional savings box with a coin insertion hole. There are no restrictions on the material used, colour, outlook design or size of the submitted work.

From this date and until 5:30 pm of June 30, 2018 (Saturday), participants can submit their work, along with a completed registration form, to the Reception of Communications Museum. In addition to awarding trophies, gift vouchers and certificates to the first, second and third prize winners, souvenirs will be offered to the guidance teachers of all participants.

Draw My Story of Stamps Contest

The contest will still be divided into three categories by age: Children Group, Youth Group and General Group. This year, participants of the Children and Youth Group are still limited to only using stamps or souvenir sheets issued by Macao China, but participants of the Open Group are allowed to use circulated stamps or souvenir sheets issued by different countries or regions in their submitted works.

The winners of First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize and Appreciation Awards will be given fabulous prizes, and souvenirs will be offered to the guidance teachers of all participants. In addition, a Participation Award will also be awarded to the school or association with the highest number of submitted works as an appreciation of their support. The submission of works by hand or by mail starts from now till 5:30pm on May 19, 2018 (Saturday).
