“HUSH!! Full Music” takes place this Sunday “Music Express” shuttle buses to Hac Sa Beach

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and co-organised by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Marine and Water Bureau, the beach concert “HUSH!! Full Music” will be staged at Hac Sa Beach from 29 April to 1 May (Sunday to Tuesday). In order to facilitate the public travelling to Hac Sa Beach, the organizer provides the shuttle service “Music Express” for the public to reach the concert venue. During the three consecutive days, the organizer invites an array of music bands from Macao and several regions in Asia to deliver a marathon music feast and launches various diversified activities such as HUSH!! GEG Silent Disco, Kill the Silence experimental music festival and music workshops, among others. Residents are welcome to participate.

“Music Express” shuttle buses to Hac Sa Beach

In order to facilitate the public travelling to and from the concert venue, this year the organizer provides the shuttle service “Music Express” on 29 April and 1 May, from 12pm to 11pm, from Taipa Central Park and Alameda da Harmonia at Seac Pai Van housing complex to Hac Sa Beach. In regard to car parking, the Grand Coloane Resort offers free parking; the public can take a 10-minute walk from the Grand Coloane Resort to the concert venue. A number of parking spaces with parking meters located at Hac Sa Beach will be reserved for emergency vehicles There are several temporary parking spaces for motorcycles available for the public. The remaining parking spaces will be open to the public. During the concert, access to the Leisure Zone of Hac Sa Beach is restricted to authorized vehicles.

Due to a high influx of people into Hac Sa Beach, the public is advised to use public transportation when travelling to the concert venue. Bus routes to Hac Sa Beach include 15, 21A and 26A. Also, routes 15, 21A, 25, 25AX, 26, 26A, 50, 51, 51A, 52, 55, 56, 59 and H3 to Alameda da Harmonia of Seac Pai Van and Butterfly Valley Avenue Terminal.

Diverse musical experiences not to be missed

The “Hush!! Full Music” beach concert will unfold a music feast from 1pm to 9:30pm on 29 April and 1 May at the Music Hot Wave stage on the beach and the “Summer Chill” stage in the woods. Overseas guest performers include Crossfaith (Japan), Mary See the Future (Taiwan), Life and Time (South Korea), .gif (Singapore), Wu Tiao Ren (Haifeng, Guangdong), GDJYB (Hong Kong), Jason Kui (Hong Kong) and Eva Tana & Maisha (Yunnan and Macao). Local artists comprise Blademark, WhyOceans, Zenith, M7, Cancer Game, Ferdinand, Strawberry Kingdom, Seize the Throne, Serpent, Eva Tana & Sin Wong, Frog.W, Rachel & Judas Law (Macao and Hong Kong), Akitsugu Fukushima, Romeu, Bobby, Kay & Coolson, Water Singers, Lobo Ip and the Macau Jazz Promotion Association.

On 30 April, from 7pm to 10pm, the Kill the Silence experimental music festival will be staged at “Summer Chill” in the woods, immersing the entire show with music, soundtrack, film projection and installation of art. Performing entities include :e:ch, fi:ch, Matthew Ho, Superman from Macao; Alok, Hakgwai, KWC, oetzi.p, Sherman, Sin:Ned from Hong Kong and Callum MacKenzie from the United States and blah film.

Dance at Silent Disco; relax at music workshops

In addition, the “HUSH!! GEG Silent Disco”, sponsored by the Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), will be held on Hac Sa Beach on the evenings of 29 and 30 April. Participants are welcome to put on earphones and dance to the raving DJ music under the starry night. All residents are welcome to participate. Limited spaces will be available for the public to register on-site according to the actual condition.

In view of the enthusiastic response received for last year’s music workshop, IC will hold two workshops this year for guitar techniques and beatbox, respectively. Jason Kui, a young talented guitarist from Hong Kong, will guide participants through electric guitar techniques in the guitar techniques workshop, while Sam Lau, a member of the famed Hong Kong a cappella group Yat Po Singers, is invited to share his rich experience in teaching and learning beatbox and a cappella skills in the beatbox workshop. Limited spaces are still available for the workshops. Registration for the above activities can be made online through the “Activity Registration System” on the IC’s website at www.icm.gov.mo/eform/event.
