Period of local application for exhibiting at the Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair of 2018 starts from 15 May. All Macao enterprises are welcome
The Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair 2018, which is jointly organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong, is a significant event that provides numerous business opportunities. The fair will be held in the Venetian Macao and will last for 3 days from 27 July. Enterprises of Macao are welcome to sign up from 15 to 28 May.
Under the influence of the Outline of the Plan for the Reform and Development of the Pearl River Delta, the Framework Agreement on Cooperation Between Guangdong and Macao, the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), the CEPA Agreement Between the Mainland and Macao on Achieving Basic Liberalization of Trade in Services in Guangdong, and the Belt and Road Initiative, the collaboration between Guangdong and Macao has grown stronger in every aspect during the past decade. In addition, with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Development expecting its launch, Guangdong and Macao will reach another milestone in relation to complementary advantages and co-operative development.
Ten years of assisting enterprises in developing business with innovation
Since establishment in 2009, the Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair has been enhancing its capacity and service quality. It has become an indispensable platform for trade promotion and branding. Also, for customers, the fair is a good market to purchase branded and quality products originated from Guangdong and Macao. With innovation as its theme, the fair is now celebrating its 10th anniversary and will continue assisting Guangdong and Macao, as well as countries along the Belt and Road in developing multilateral economic and trade markets and reinforcing collaboration. A wide array of products will be showcased at the Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair 2018, including souvenirs, food, daily necessities, cultural and creative projects, and products of time honored brands. More elements of the Belt and Road Initiative are added to this year’s fair. In celebration of the anniversary, the Macao Products Exhibition & Sales Area will feature new themes and present high-quality products as always. The Macao Franchise Expo 2018 will also be held concurrently.
From 15 to 28 May, enterprises of Macao (including Made-in-Macaoproducts, Macao brands, overseas products and products from Portuguese-speaking countries distributed by Macao agents, etc.) are welcome to claim or submit the entry form at this Av. Sidónio Pais No. 63B-65A R/C, Macao (exhibition co-ordination office). Opening hours of the office are 9:30-13:00 and 14:30-18:00 on weekdays. Due to limited availability, exhibition application will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. In the meantime, the“Macao SME Exhibition Subsidy Scheme” is applicable to the Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair 2018.
