AACM approves 183 extra flights for summer vacation

The Civil Aviation Authority of Macao SAR has approved 183 extra flights for this summer vacation to cater for the demand for travel of both Macao residents and tourists who take Macao as a transit point to travel to other places.

To cater for the demand for travel of both Macao residents and tourists who take Macao as a transit point to travel to other places, the Civil Aviation Authority of Macao SAR (AACM) has approved a total of 183 extra flights for this summer vacation which are destined to Taiwan China, Vietnam and Japan.

In accordance with the application submitted by Air Macau this year, AACM has approved them to operate a total of 183 extra flights which will start operations from 1 July to 31 August 2018, of which 71 flights to Taipei, 62 to Kaohsiung, 33 to Danang and 17 to Osaka.

Air Transport has become one of the vital channels for passengers who make outbound travels. Whenever the peak travelling season comes, airlines usually provide extra capacity to satisfy the travelling need of the passengers. AACM will approve the flights in a timely manner to cope with the market demand. The extra flights for this summer are 28.9% more than the extra flights of last summer.
