Arrangements for Social Security Fund’s Services to the Public

In response to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, avoid crowd gathering and reduce the risk of disease spread, the Social Security Fund will open its temporary office at Tap Seac and its office on the 13th floor of Edf. China Civil Plaza at NAPE, during 24th to 28th February, and accept to handle services made by residents’ appointments.  Among them, the FSS temporary office at Tap Seac provides the following services:

I.      Social Security System

-              Application for enrollment in the arbitrary system^{1 2}

-              Start the payment of contributions of the arbitrary system^{1 2 3}

-              Suspend the payment of contributions of the arbitrary system^{1 2 3}

-              Payment of contributions of the obligatory system¹

-              Payment of employment fee for non-resident workers

-              Apply to rectify the default contributions of the obligatory system²

-              Payment of contributions of the arbitrary system (the fourth quarter of 2019) ³

-              Application for a Certificate of Beneficiary’s Contribution^{1 2 3}

-              Check beneficiary’s contribution records^{1 3}

-              Application for a Certificate of Employer’s Contribution^{1 2}

-              Registration of employer

-              Change of employer information²

-              Complaint against employer for non-payment/overpayment of contributions²

-              Application for Electronic Filing Service²

-              Old-age pension, disability pension, unemployment allowance, sickness allowance²

-              Birth allowance, marriage allowance, funeral allowance^{1 2}

-              Provision of proof of life (Can provide before the end of March) ^{2 3}

 

II.    Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund System

-              Check the name list of fund allocation of 2019 ^{1 3}

-              Check the name list of fund allocation of other years ¹

-              Check the incentive basic fund ¹

-              Check the government-managed sub-account balance ^{1 3}

-              Withdrawal of funds from government-managed sub-account (account owners attaining age 65, currently receiving old-age or disability pension from the Social Security Fund, or subsidy for senior citizens or special disability subsidy from the Social Welfare Bureau) ³

-              Filing of objection statement ²

-              Withdrawal of funds ²

-              Employer apply to make online enquiry about Central Provident Fund’s contribution balance ²

-              Employer change identity/communication information ²

-              Transfer funds out of the government-managed sub-account ^{1 2}

-              Transfer funds to the government-managed sub-account ²

 

The FSS office on the 13th floor of Edf. China Civil Plaza at NAPE only provides contribution-related services of the Social Security System, including:

-              Suspend the payment of contributions of the arbitrary system^{1 2 3}

-              Payment of contributions of the obligatory system¹

Printing and checking of benefit payment records can only be done at the self-service machine;

 

In addition, the following services for fund management entities are only accepted by mail:

-              Employer to establish the joint provident fund scheme for the first time

-              Employer to add a joint provident fund scheme

-              Employer to amend the joint provident fund scheme

-              Employer to switch the fund management entity

-              Individual provident fund scheme

 

As the number of reception counters and personnel will be appropriately reduced, it is recommended that members of the public choose to handle various services electronically.  If they must visit the FSS office in person, please make an appointment through the " Conta única de acesso comum aos serviços públicos da RAEM ".
