CCAC suspends services between 5th and 7th October
The Macao SAR Government has decided to exempt public servants from work between 5th and 7th October in order to reduce the spread of the virus. Therefore, the departments that provide services for the public (the Complaint Management Centre, the Declaration of Assets and Interests Division and the Branch Offices at Areia Preta and Taipa) will be closed during the period. For reports and complaints over corruption and public services, please use our online complaint service or call the Report Hotline at 2836 1212. The deadline for declaration of assets and interests by public servants will be extended to the first working day following the suspension.
Service arrangements during typhoons
During the issue of typhoon signal no. 8, the visitation and public service of Coloane Prison, Youth Correctional Institution and Correctional Services Bureau Service and Information Centre will be temporarily suspended and will be restored until the typhoon signal no. 8 is withdrawn.

When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is in effect, all visits and public services at Coloane Prison, Youth Correctional Institution and Correctional Services Bureau Service and Information Centre will be suspended. Visits and public services will resume once Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered.
Correctional Services Bureau Maintains Partial Visiting Service
In view of the latest situation of the COVID-19 epidemic and citizens’ need for public services, and in accordance with the SAR Government’s epidemic prevention instructions to reduce the gathering of people and the risk of the virus spreading, since 4 March 2020, the Correctional Services Bureau has partially resumed the visits to inmates of Coloane Prison and juvenile delinquents of the Youth Correctional Institution. Considering the evolving epidemic situation, the Bureau will maintain the arrangement where visits are permitted every other week.
Service arrangement concerning visits to inmates of Coloane Prison:
- Frequency of visits is once every two weeks; each visit lasts an hour;
- Visits are conducted through handsets;
- For the time being, items are not allowed to be brought in during visits.
Service arrangement concerning visits to juvenile delinquents held in the Youth Correctional Institution:
- Frequency of visits is once every two weeks; each visit lasts an hour;
- For the time being, items are not allowed to be brought in during visits.
Pursuant to the “Guidelines for the measures to be adopted by public departments during the fight against the epidemic”, the Correctional Services Bureau would like to remind members of the public that, prior to entering any facility of the Bureau, they must submit the personal health declaration, wear their own mask and receive a body temperature check; otherwise, their entry will be denied. We ask that members of the public cooperate with and support the epidemic prevention efforts.

The money transfer service of Western Union in post offices continues to be suspended on this day.
The location for parcels pick up is Central Post Office with entrance in Rua da Sé. Both recipients of parcels or EMS items can use the “Track-and-Trace” service in CTT’s website to check the status of their mails http://www.ctt.gov.mo/MacauPost/Contents/MailTrack.aspx.
Please pay attention that there are delays in all services provides, in particular, the delivery of postal items and delays will not be compensated during this period until further notice.

Special arrangement for money transfer service of Western Union in Macao Postal Savings from 26th to 28th February 2020
CTT Macao would like to inform that the distribution hour of the current-day walk-in quota for money transfer service of Western Union in Macao Postal Savings, situated in San Ma Lou (Av. Almeida Ribeiro), during 26th to 28th February 2020, will change to start at 09:00, with limited quota distributing in a “firstcome-first-serve” basis each day and no advance booking. The service hour continues to be 12:00 to 17:00.
The money transfer service of Western Union in Post Offices continues to be closed during this period.

Correctional Services Bureau External Service Arrangement on 24 to 28 February
To ensure the provision of basic services while minimizing the risk of the spread of COVID-19, the Correctional Services Bureau will have the following external service arrangement on 24 to 28 February:
1. Coloane Prison and the Youth Correctional Institution will continue to suspend the visits to inmates and juvenile delinquents and the processing of applications for services until further announcement.
2. The Correctional Services Bureau Service and Information Centre (address: Avenida da Praia Grande, China Plaza, 8º andar “A”, Macau) maintains the following services to the public:
– Application for Permit for Visiting an Inmate
– Application for Service of Video Visit to an Inmate
– Application for Appointment with a Prison Social Worker
– Application for Certificate of Imprisonment
3. The office hours of the Correctional Services Bureau Service and Information Centre are 09:00-17:45 on 24 to 27 February, and 09:00-17:30 on 28 February.
4. Due to the appropriately reduced number of service counters and personnel, members of the public are recommended to lodge applications for services online.

DSI will continue to provide basic public services
Due to the development of the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) located at China Plaza in Avenida de Praia Grande will continue to provide basic public services during the period 24th to 28st February 2020.
Citizens who intend to lodge applications at DSI can go to DSI’s website (www.dsi.gov.mo) to obtain the number tag of the day starting at 7 a.m. every day or make an appointment for lodging application. DSI will only distribute number tags on-site for urgent and special cases. All kinds of performance pledges will be suspended. Applicants will be notified of the document collection date by SMS. If there is not urgency, citizens are advised to postpone the relevant formalities.
Moreover, citizens who lodged applications and chose to collect documents or certificates at DSI located at China Plaza in Avenida de Praia Grande beforehand are advised to check the latest status of their application on DSI website before collecting their document.
All 24-hour self-services and online services for lodging applications will continue to maintain normal operations, but expedited services will not be available.
All public services of DSI’s service areas in the Macao Government Services Centre in Areia Preta (Zone R on 2nd Floor) and the Macao Government Services Centre in Islands (Zone D on 3rd Floor) will be suspended.
