1. What is public tomb?

Located in St. Miguel Arcanjo Cemetery, the public tomb is used for the temporary storage of remains, stillbirth, bone remains or ashes to facilitate burial, cremation or placement in bone box or ash box in the future.


2. How long is the storage period? Can applicants apply for extension?

The storage period is 6 months at most. If the person concerned makes an application with statement of reasons, IAM may grant an exception for an extension of storage up to 6 months.
