How to Process 

Online application
Applications can be made at the “Designated Website for One-stop Licensing Service for Food and Beverage Establishments”. (Applicants must have an individual or entity account of “Macao One Account”)

Note: 

1. IAM will notify the applicant by text message / phone after the application uploaded is initially checked by the IAM staff;

2. The documents are required to be uploaded in jpg, png or jpeg image formats or PDF file format. The number of files to be uploaded cannot exceed 20 and each file cannot exceed 10MB;

3. The documents uploaded for the application must be clear and easy to read. Otherwise, IAM has the right to reject the application and the applicant has to upload the documents again or change to submit the application in paper form;

4. Each food and beverage establishment can only upload documents for a maximum of 5 times each day, and IAM only keeps the last application submitted each day.

Required Document:

1. Food and Beverage Establishment – Notification of Price List (MOD. 027/DLA/DHAL) which can be obtained free of charge from the One-stop Licensing Service for Food and Beverage Establishments of IAM or downloaded from the IAM website www.iam.gov.mo (not required for online applications);

2. Latest menus and prices in use. (Submission date is required to be stated on the price lists.)

Note: The person who is authorised to submit the application on behalf of the license holder is required to produce his or her original identification document and make a written declaration on such authorisation.

Remarks / Important Notes on Application

1. The complete set of the latest menus and prices in use should be attached to the application (Submission date is required to be stated on the price lists.);

2. If the person in charge of a food and beverage establishment intends to amend the content of price lists of the establishment (including price rises, price reductions, seasonal price rises, or increase or reductions in variety of food or beverage items for sale), he or she must make a notification to IAM. In accordance with the stipulations of Clauses 2 and 3 of Article 35 and Article 73 of Decree-Law no. 16/96/M amended by Law no. 8/2021, offenders are liable to a fine of MOP2,500.00;

3. Price lists implemented in food and beverage establishments should clearly indicate the charges levied on customers according to prices, such as additional service charge, or the charges included in prices;

4. Establishments should only sell food or beverage items that match their license categories. For instance, beverage establishments can only sell drinks and simple food items. Moreover, establishments are required to install effective equipment for filtration of cooking fumes before selling food that produces cooking fumes during the preparation process, such as fried food. (In case of a need to change the approved plan of the establishment for installation of such equipment, an application must be made to IAM in advance according to the law.)
