Application for Licence Cancellation


How to Apply

Time limit for application: Within the period of validity of the licence, the licence holder may apply for cancellation of the licence at any time.

Application Procedures and Required Documents:

The licence holder is required to write an application letter, which must contain the name of the licence holder, the licence number, the name of the business premise and state the matter about applying for licence cancellation, with the licence holder’s signature/seal and the application date.

Monday to Thursday: 09:00 – 13:00; 14:30 – 17:45

Remarks/Notes for Application

The licence holder shall return the cancelled licence within 10 working days after being notified by the Labour Affairs Bureau.

Cancellation of the licence does not entitle to a refund of the fees charged.

The bank guaranty shall continue to take effect within 1 year after licence cancellation, and shall be held liable for the debts raised during that period, which are incurred to service user due to the provisions of this law.  The Labour Affairs Bureau shall return the bank guaranty or its balance within 15 days after the expiration of the said period and the payment of the debts has been completed.
