How to Apply

Application time limit: No relevant stipulation.

Application procedures and necessary documents:

1. Application approach
   1. Persons who have entered and departed from Macao through our checkpoints may apply for Certificate of Personal Movement Record in person or by legal representative.
   2. The legal representative is required to submit:
      1. A certified letter of authorization;
      2. Copy of his/her valid identification document (the original should be exhibited for authentication).
2. Documents to be Presented
   1. Unless further specified, all copies of documents to be submitted should be presented with the original for authentication;
   2. If the original cannot be presented, the relevant copy should be certified.
3. Required Documents
   1. Application letter; (Modelo n° DARP/SE M-1) (Remark 1. & 2.)
   2. Copy of applicant’s valid identification document;
   3. Copy of the travel document used for entry/exit the Macao SAR during the period stated in the application;
   4. When applying for a Certificate of Personal Movement Record for a minor, the parent or legal guardian is required to provide a certificate of kinship.

Remarks

1. The template of the “application letter” is available at the Subdivision concerned and the website of the Public Security Police Force
2. The application letter should contain: (1) the applicant’s personal information; (2) the fact to be certified; (3) the purpose the certificate/declaration serves.

Remarks / Points to note

We started to register the movement records of passengers electronically from January 1994. Therefore, certification of movement records registered before January 1994 cannot be provided.
