How to Apply

Application procedures and documents required

For registration, please present:

  1. Identity document;
  2. Patient Card (commonly known as “gold card”);
  3. Others:
    1. Healthcare Access Card (applicable to civil servants and/or their family beneficiaries); or
    2. Medical Card (applicable to workers of organizations with which the Health Bureau has an agreement); or
    3. Healthcare Card and relevant documentary proof (applicable to individuals entitled to “free healthcare”.

  1. Emergency Building of Conde de São Januário General Hospital
  2. Island Emergency Station of Conde de São Januário General Hospital

Service Hours:24 hours


Fees

Consultation fee (excluding laboratory tests, medication, treatment, surgery, etc.)

  1. Macao SAR Resident Identity Card : MOP 42
  2. Non-resident Worker’s Identification Card : MOP 60
  3. Non-Macao resident identity document : MOP 120

Charges of “pregnancy and childbirth services” and “special obstetric services” for non-resident workers and non-resident pregnant women (View fee schedule here)

Charging rate of other medical services (e.g. laboratory tests, medication, treatment, surgery, etc.)

  1. Macao SAR Resident Identity Card : 70%
  2. Non-resident Worker’s Identification Card : 100%
  3. Non-Macao resident identity document : 200%

Application Processing Time

Under general situations, patients can be registered within 10 minutes upon arrival at the Emergency Registration Office. (Performance Pledge)


Remarks/Notes for Application

  1. In instances where a third party is liable or presumed liable, the above healthcare benefits will not be applicable;
  2. Visiting hours (Emergency Service wards):  12:00~14:00 and 18:00~20:00
