Application procedures and documents required
1. Appointment making/ registration at counter
- Provide the number of your Health Bureau Patient Card (also known as “gold card”);
- Present your identification document.
2. Online queue/ appointment making
Users with a “Government Service Access Account” and the Health Bureau Patient Card (also known as “gold card”) can schedule an initial consultation for outpatient services of Adult Healthcare/ Women’s Healthcare/ Child Healthcare/ Traditional Chinese Medicine/ Acupuncture and obtain a queue number for non-scheduled outpatient services through the Health Bureau’s mobile app, the Health Bureau’s website (www.ssm.gov.mo), or the “Government Service Access Account” > “My Health” > “Outpatient Services”.

Fees
- Macao residents (by presenting the Macao SAR Resident Identity Card) are eligible to free primary healthcare services provided in Health Centres subordinated to the Health Bureau.
- Macao residents who are referred from a Health Centre to Conde de São Januário General Hospital for ancillary examination are also exempted from payment.
- Non-Macao residents are subject to payment according to the scale of fees imposed by the Health Bureau
Processing Time
The outpatient check-in procedure usually takes within 15 minutes (performance pledge) when the service user arrives at the check-in counter as scheduled.
Remarks/Notes to Application
Under general conditions, each Health Centre only provide services to residents who are residing (including working or studying) within its service coverage area. However, cross-community service will also be provided under special circumstances, e.g. non-scheduled outpatient or services that are not available in the Health Centre of the community, like dental care and TCM services).
