How to Apply

Application procedures and documents required

1. Valid identification document and the Health Bureau Patient Card (commonly known as ‘gold card’);

2. Relevant clinical information, if available.


Location of Application and Service Hours

Apply in person

Conde de S. Januario General Hospital – Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment Centre
Address: Estrada da Vitória, nº. 40, Macau
Service hours:
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:15pm
Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Closed on Saturday, Sunday, public holidays and special grants for exempt from work


Fees

1. Holders of Macao SAR Resident Identity Card : free of charge

2. Holders of Non-resident Worker’s Identification Card : MOP100

3. Others : MOP200


Processing Time

The chest X-ray report will be available for collection on the 5th working day after the examination.


Remarks/Notes for Application

Examination procedures

1. Register at the Registry Office of the Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment Centre;

2. Present your valid identification document and the Health Bureau Patient Card (gold card);

3. Receive a numbered ticket (this also serves as the notice for report collection);

4. Get an X-ray gown outside the X-ray room on the first floor;

5. Watch the video on the examination procedures being played on TV;

6. Staff verify the identification document and the information on the numbered ticket;

7. Enter the changing room according to your ticket number, and then change into the X-ray gown;

8. Wait in the changing room for staff instructions to enter the X-ray room and proceed with the examination;

9. After examination, collect your report at the Registry Office of the Centre on the specified date of collection as shown on the numbered ticket.
