How to Apply?

Application period: Starting from the first working day in June each year

Application procedures and the required documents:

Persons who need to apply:

Except for those who are exempted from application, other eligible applicants are obliged to submit their application for renewal to Centre of Educational Resources (hereinafter called the Centre) before the end of each school year in order to continue to use the services in the following school year.

Procedures

  1. From the first working day in June each year, the Centre begins to accept the application for renewal.
  2. Applicants can download the application form (DSEDJ-F01) from the website of Education and Youth Development Bureau (hereinafter called the DSEDJ) or obtain it from the Centre. They need to fill in the column of “Applicant’s Information” , stamp the form with the seal of the institution / organisation to which they belong, and then submit it to the Centre; no attached documents are required. Applicants can also email the form to: cre@dsedj.gov.mo or fax it to: (853) 83959131.
  3. If the faculty members and researchers in higher education institutions in Macao cannot obtain the seal of the institution/organisation, they have to submit relevant document proofing that they are the faculty members / researchers of the higher education institution (e.g. a copy of the staff card of the institution).
  4. For persons who have worked as teaching staff in non-tertiary education schools in Macao, have relevant records in the DSEDJ or have submitted relevant certification, signature of the person in charge and seal of the institution are not required for application for renewal.
  5. Personnel related to school education are to be identified by the relevant departments of the DSEDJ first.
  6. For DSEDJ staff, signature of the person in charge and the department seal are not required, but they need to submit a copy of DSEDJ staff card.

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30-19:00 (Closed on public holidays of Macao SAR)

Application Processing Time

The applicant will be notified of the result within 15 minutes upon receipt of the completed application form. Then the applicant can use the services of the Centre by presenting the ID card. (Service Commitment)


Notes on Application

  1. Applicants can download the application form (DSEDJ-F01) from DSEDJ website or obtain it from the Centre.
  2. The period of use for each application is a school year, i.e. from 1st September to 31st August of the following year. Users who continuously work or study at the same institution can apply for renewal.
  3. For new teaching staff who have not been issued with a teaching staff card, their period of use for the initial application is three months. They cannot renew as “a user” after the validity period.
  4. For persons who have worked as teaching staff in non-tertiary education schools in Macao, have relevant records in the DSEDJ or have submitted relevant certification, signature of the person in charge and seal of the institution are not required for application for renewal.

Applicants can contact Centre of Educational Resources of Education and Youth Development Bureau by phone or email to check the application progress.

Result Collection:

The applicant will be notified of the result within 15 minutes upon receipt of the completed application form. Then the applicant can use the services of the Centre by presenting the ID card.
