Service description:
The establishment, management, organization, operation of private schools of non-tertiary education in the MSAR (hereinafter referred to as “schools”) and the change of the school running entities, are regulated by Law No. 15/2020 – “Statute of Private Schools of Non-tertiary Education” (hereinafter referred to as ” Statute”). The director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau has the authority to approve the establishment of a school and issue a school license.
Target group:
Any natural persons or legal persons of non-public law conforming to the requirements set by the “Statute” are permitted to establish “schools”.
Service results:
After the review of documents and on-site review, if it is proved that the application meets the requirements of running a school, the director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau will issue a license for the school.
