Seaman Registration

Introduction

Seaman’s registration cards are issued to persons who intend to work as seamen or similar professions specified in decree-law no. 12/99/M.

Target Groups and Application Eligibility

Issuance of Seaman’s Registration Card:
Macao residents aged 18 or above who meet the professional requirements of seaman, approved by Decree-Law No. 12/99/M, of 22 March.

Inspection of Seaman’s Registration Card:
Persons who have registered as seamen in Macao SAR.

Renewal and Replacement of Seaman’s Registration Card:
Persons who have registered as seamen in Macao SAR.

Cancellation:
Persons who have registered as seamen in Macao SAR.

Application Result

Issuance of Seaman’s Registration Card:
If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a seaman’s registration card.

Inspection of Seaman’s Registration Card:
If the application is approved, the seaman’s registration card will be endorsed with an inspection date.

Renewal and Replacement of Seaman’s Registration Card:
If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a renewed or replacement seaman’s registration card.

Cancellation:
If the application is approved, the seaman’s registration will be cancelled.
