How to Apply

Time Limit for Application

Formalities and Required Documents

Applications should be made in person at the Marine and Water Bureau, with the submission of the followings:

1. Application form for berthing of non-Macao registered pleasure boat (format LAER/DET); (the form can be obtained from the office)
2. Photocopy of identification document (original copy to be presented for verification);
3. Photocopy of the latest supporting document for the establishment of the entity, if the applicant is a juristic person (original copy to be presented for verification) (Entities which have been registered in the Commerce and Movable Property Registry, and of which information can be obtained online from the Legal Affairs Bureau, are not required to submit the Commercial Registration Certificate); for a company that is established outside Macao SAR, a photocopy of the document with the same validity must be attached (original copy to be presented for verification) ;
4. If the applicant is established outside Macao SAR, a photocopy of the identification document of the appointed representative must be attached;
5. Photocopy of valid certificate of navigation (original copy to be presented for verification);
6. Photocopy of identification document of the appointed representative;
7. Photocopy of approved application for entry of pleasure yachts (format EER1/DGP) ; (see application for port call of non-Macao registered pleasure boats for details);
8. Certificate issued by water sports organisation;
9. In case of renewal, photocopy of the licence which needs to be renewed should be attached (original copy to be presented for verification).

Documents required to be processed / applied in advance:

1. Charges

Application Fees

Fees charged pursuant to the “General table of fees of the Marine and Water Bureau”.

Stamp Duty

Stamp duty is levied according to the Chief Executive Dispatch No. 87/2021, republishing the full texts of the “Stamp Duty Regulations” and its annex, “General Table of Stamp Duty”.

Notes:

• By cash or cheque.
• When payment is made by cheque, remember to make the cheque payable to “Direcção dos Serviços de Assuntos Marítimos e de Água” and it must comply with Paragraph 3 of Article 5 of No.22/2008 Administrative Regulations, of 4 August, and must be a certified cheque.

Processing Time

Upon submission of all necessary documents, licence will be issued within 5 working days, excluding the day of application submission. (Performance Pledge)
