Application procedures

Documents needed

  1. The data subject should fill in the specialized Application Form for exercising the right of access.
  2. After confirming the information on the form is correct, the data subject should sign the form in accordance with the signature on his ID, of which a copy should be provided.

Submit in person

Monday to Thursday: 09:00-13:00, 14:30-17:45
Friday: 09:00-13:00, 14:30-17:30

Apply by post

Mail to “Macao P.O. Box 880”, or to “Personal Data Protection Bureau, Avenida da Praia Grande, N.º 804, Edif. China Plaza, 17.º andar, Macau”.  When submitting by post, the date of postmark will be regarded as the date of application.


Fee

The Personal Data Protection Bureau accepts and handles applications, free of charge, for exercising the right of access through the Personal Data Protection Bureau according to the Personal Data Protection Act.


Notes/Application information

  1. Only a data subject can apply, and his application should only involve the personal data processing for the purpose of journalism, arts or literature.
  2. The applicant himself must confirm the information that he intends to understand, or the request he is making, through exercising the right of access.
  3. An applicant should supply further documents as soon as he or she is required by the Personal Data Protection Bureau.
