How to Apply
Service Target
Individual with an internship licence for working as a medical doctor, dentist, traditional Chinese medical doctor, nurse, medical laboratory technologist, radiological technologist, chiropractor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, psychotherapist, or dietitian must apply for cancellation of their licence if they are under the circumstances stipulated in Article 19 – Registration Cancellation of Law No. 18/2020.
Application Deadline
The internship licence holder must submit an application for licence cancellation within 7 working days after obtaining relevant proof issued by Health Professional Council for cancelling the provisional accreditation registration.
Application procedures and documents required
- Application form for Cancellation of Internship Licence for Health Professionals
- A copy of relevant proof issued by Health Professional Council for cancelling the provisional accreditation registration (the original must be presented to Health Bureau staff for verification);
- A copy of the applicant’s Macao Resident ID Card;
- Original Internship Licence;
The following documents should also be submitted when applicable:
- A copy of a declaration of the loss of the licence issued by the competent authority if the licence is lost;
- A copy of the death certificate if the licence holder is dead.

Service hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am-1:00pm, 2:30pm-5:45pm
Fridays: 9:00am-1:00pm, 2:30pm-5:30pm
(Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)
Fees
Free of charge.
Application Processing Time
The applicant will be notified in writing within 21 working days (excluding the mailing or collection time required)
