1. Service targets:
Office-holders or appointees of registered trade unions or trade union federations
2. Contents of certificate:
Registration number, name of the trade union or trade union federation, the date of first publication in the Official Gazette of the MSAR, together with the constitution or other documents of the trade union or trade union federation.
3. Documents required for application:
The application shall be made to the Labour Affairs Bureau by the office-holder or the appointee of the trade union or trade union federation and the required documentsNote 1 include:
(1) “Application form for registration certificate of trade union or trade union federation (certificate of leadership structure, certificate of constitution or other documents)” signed by the office-holder or appointee;
(2) A copy of the applicant’s identification documents;
(3) Power of attorney (where an application is made by the appointee).
4. Fees:
(1) Printed certificateNote 2: MOP15.00 for the first page, and MOP5.00 for each additional page;
(2) Electronic certificateNote 2: MOP15.00 for each certificate.
5. Time required for processing:
10 working days(counting from the date of receipt of application and all necessary documents)
Notes:
Note 1: Documents must be made in any of the official languages of the MSAR; if the documents are made in any other language, a translation which is made in accordance with Articles 182 to 184 of the Notary Code must be provided, unless a translation is exempted from the Labour Affairs Bureau.
Note 2:The trade union or the trade union federation which is an administrative public benefit legal person shall be exempt from fees and charges.
