Introduction
Course aim: Occupational safety card courses include two types: “Course on Occupational Safety Card for the Construction Industry” and “Course for Occupational Safety Card for the Hotel and Catering Industries”. The main purposes of the courses are to enable participants to know the common work hazards in construction sites and workplaces of hotel, catering and gaming industries and laws and regulations to be abided by and safety issues to be noted during performance of work, and to learn how to use personal protective equipment and general knowledge on personal protection, so as to prevent work accidents or occupational diseases.
Training contents:
1. Laws and regulations related to occupational safety and health;
2. Basic concepts of work safety in construction sites and workplaces of hotel, catering and gaming industries;
3. Prevention of work accidents and improvement measures;
4. Introduction of personal protective equipment and practice on the use of the equipment.
Target Groups and Application Eligibility:
- Macau resident
- (1). “Course on Occupational Safety Card for the Construction Industry”: Non-residents who have been authorized to stay in the Macao SAR and allowed to work in construction sites or places where construction work is carried out;
“Course on Occupational Safety Card for the Hotel and Catering Industries”: Non-residents who have been authorized to stay in the Macao SAR and allowed to work in hotels, restaurants, food and beverage establishments or similar establishments.
