Introduction
The maritime registration for ships is provided for vessels intending to be registered in the Macao Special Administrative Region. According to the “Regulations on Maritime Activities” approved by decree-law no. 90/99/M, vessels carrying out the activities which determine their category, must be registered in the maritime registration of the Marine and Water Bureau.
Target Groups and Application Eligibility
Application for Maritime Registration for Ships:
Natural person / juristic person.
Renewal of Certificate of Navigation:
Ship owners who have done maritime registration in Macao SAR.
Change or Revision of Ship’s Log:
Ship owners who have done maritime registration in Macao SAR.
Reissuance of Certificate of Navigation:
Ship owners who have done maritime registration in Macao SAR.
Deletion of Ship’s Log in Maritime Registration:
Ship owners who have done maritime registration in Macao SAR.
Application Result
Application for Maritime Registration for Ships:
If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a supporting document for ship navigation.
Renewal of Certificate of Navigation:
If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a respective renewed supporting document for ship navigation.
Change or Revision of Ship’s Log:
If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a respective updated supporting document for ship navigation.
Reissuance of Certificate of Navigation:
If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a respective replaced supporting document for ship navigation.
Deletion of Ship’s Log in Maritime Registration:
If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a certificate concerning the ship’s deletion of maritime registration.
