Service Coverage

Non-residents who perform the duties of an arbitrator in accordance with the laws regulating arbitration may apply to the Stay Subdivision of the Residence and Stay Affairs Department for Special Authorization to Stay for arbitrators according to Item 7, Term 1, Article 32 of Law No. 16/2021 and Article 26 of Administrative Regulation No. 38/2021.

      Non-residents performing the duties of an arbitrator according to the law

      Persons granted Special Authorization to Stay for arbitrators
2. Application Eligibility
   1. Meeting the stipulations relevant to the Legal Regime of Immigration Control, Stay and Residence Authorization of the Macao Special Administrative Region (e.g. 1. in possession of a statutory valid passport/travel document/identification document for entry to and departure from Macao; and 2. not in a lawfully restricted status.)
   2. Non-residents in possession of a certificate issued by an entity authorized in the Chief Executive’s written instructions to conduct institutional arbitration
