| Objetivo | To help learners to understand basic educational principles, basic connotation of Information Technology education, educational system and regulations of Macao, and to introduce to the learners the status quo of information technology education in Macao and Asian-Pacific region. |
| Mensagem | 1. The Basic Knowledge of Education (12 hours): includes basic educational rationales, theoretical foundations and understanding the essence of various educational activities (including educational principles, learning scientific theories and comprehensive education technology). 2. Basic Theory of Information Technology and Its Application (18 hours):includes the basic connotation of Information Technology education, the development and the status quo of Information Technology education, the application of Information Technology to the educational field; to know the educational system and regulations of Macao, and development characteristics of all levels of education and society; to know the development of Information Technology in the field of education in Macao, which covers related government policies, government subsidy, schools’ outfit of hardware and software, the future development tendency of Information Technology education in Macao. Moreover, from a practical perspective, to introduce the learners teachers’ application of information technologies and their career development. Furthermore, through the introduction of the status quo of IT in education in Macao and the regions nearby, as well as the related challenges, costs, and teaching effectiveness etc. |
