Executive Development Programme in "Image, Positioning and Branding in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry" to be held in IFT


A two-day Executive Development Programme in "Image, Positioning and Branding in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry", co-organised by IFT and Purdue University, USA will be held on 14-15 July (Thursday & Friday) at the Pousada Conference Room in Pousada de Mong-Ha. The Programme will be co-delivered by Professor Alastair Morrison and Dr. Xinran Lehto of Purdue University, USA and faculty members of IFT.
Professor Alastair M. Morrison, Distinguished Professor of Tourism & Hospitality Management, Director of International Programmes in Consumer & Family Sciences, and Director of Purdue Tourism & Hospitality Research Centre (PTHRC) of Purdue University has authored renowned books on tourism marketing and development published in the States. In 1998, he was selected as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to tourism education by the International Society of Travel & Tourism Educators (ISTTE). Dr. Xinran Y. Lehto is the Assistant Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University. She is the recipient of a two-year Purdue Research Foundation grant (2003-2005) focusing on the benefit of leisure travel and quality of life of older people. She was the principal investigator of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade. The session starts from 9:00am to 5:30pm daily.
