The main aims of this course are: 1.To provide participants with an increased understanding of the components of the TKT exam. 2.To help participants maximize their performance in the TKT exam. 3.Through studying for the exam, to become better teachers of English, with a greater understanding of what constitutes good teaching practice. |

Some of the areas participants will focus on are: 1. How to better understand and motivate students; 2. How to raise your confidence in presenting new language; 3. How to identify learner errors and the reasons behind them; 4. How to plan lessons more effectively; 5. How to use resources and supplements to add variety to lessons; 6. How to get the most out of your course book; 7. How to use group work and pair work for language learning; 8. How to correct and give feedback in a way that promotes learning; 9. How to teach English language classes with greater self-assurance.
