Grace period for the Exchange of the 20th Anniversary of the Return of Sovereignty of Macao banknotes and the Zodiac Banknotes
As scheduled, the exchange period for the 20th Anniversary of the Return of Sovereignty of Macao banknotes and for the four previously issued Zodiac Banknotes will end on 19 December 2019 (Thursday). For the convenience of those registrants who have not yet conducted the note exchange, a grace period will be granted between 23 December 2019 (Monday) and 3 January 2020 (Friday) to allow for the exchange of their subscribed notes during business hours at their previously selected bank.

Fitch Ratings Maintains Macao SAR's Long-Term Credit Ratings
According to a press release published by Fitch Ratings today, the international rating agency affirms Macao SAR’s credit ratings (long-term foreign and local currency issuer default ratings) at “AA”, whereas the rating outlook is revised from “stable” to “negative”.

Consumer Council released 5th supermarket price survey report of the current month
The Consumer Council conducted its ‘Supermarket price survey’ of the second-half of December on 16 December for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included 13 supermarkets in São Lázaro, São Lourenço and Sé Parishes. Consumers may now check the report data on the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo), the “Supermarket Price Information Platform” app, or the Council’s WeChat account.

DSCC launches “Atlas of Macao – 2019”
“Atlas of Macao - 2019”, which is published by Cartography and Cadastre Bureau, is now released. The Atlas introduces the latest city’s features of Macao, and initially introduces the “Land boundaries of Macao Special Administrative Region”, the “Coastline of Macao Special Administrative Region” and thematic maps under the series “Tracing the changes in Macao with topographic maps”; that is to present Macao’s latest survey and mapping results and record the development of the city.

Animated version of exhibition of the Palace Museum A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains 3.0 in celebration of Macao’s Handover
The Macao Museum of Art (MAM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), and the Palace Museum will jointly present the mega exhibition series under the theme “The Long Journey”. The exhibition “A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains 3.0”, as the first phase of the exhibition series, will be inaugurated on Tuesday, 17 December, at 6pm, at the Exhibition Gallery on the 2nd floor of the MAM. The exhibition will bring the audience an exceptional artistic feast by displaying the masterpiece A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains through the latest digital interactive technology.
