Secretary Leong: Jiangsu visit illustrates roles of Macao young people in national development

The Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Leong Vai Tac, said a visit to Jiangsu Province by a group of young Macao people would help them to understand better their roles and responsibilities in contributing to the nation’s development.


UM professor elected titular member of International Academy of Comparative Law

Prof Wei Dan, associate dean of the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Law, has been elected titular member of the International Academy of Comparative Law (IACL). In 2018, she became the first Chinese scholar to be elected executive committee member and vice president of the academy.


Chinese contemporary dance at CCM Double Under Siege

Due to the overwhelming demand, the Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, will be presenting a second date for Under Siege, a modern dance master-piece brought by renowned choreographer Yang Liping. The additional show will hit the stage on September 6, at the Grand Auditorium.


Consumer Council released 5th supermarket price survey report of the current month

The Consumer Council conducted its ‘Supermarket price survey’ of the second-half of July on 18 July for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included 14 supermarkets in N. Sra. de Fátima Parish. Consumers may now check the report data on the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo), the “Supermarket Price Information Platform” app, or the Council’s WeChat account.


Macao and Zhuhai co-tested hand creams from both regions 43 samples passes hygiene and safety tests

According to the cooperation agreement between the Macao Consumer Council and Zhuhai Consumer Council and for the implementation of close cooperation between cities in the Greater Bay Area, both Councils completed and announced an annual co-test report.
