Exhibition “LAKE UP GRAFFITI JAM” inaugurated at Anim’Arte NAM VAN
The Anim’Arte NAM VAN, jointly developed by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the Sports Bureau and the Institute for Tourism Studies, under the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government, has provided residents and tourists with diverse services and experiences in cultural tourism and leisure. The exhibition “LAKE UP GRAFFITI JAM” was inaugurated on 12 July, at 6:30pm, at the Anim’Arte NAM VAN, featuring a graffiti display area dedicated to the theme “Joy for All”. Macao International Book Fair 2019 concluded successfully
The Macao International Book Fair 2019, featured in the 2nd Encounter in Macao – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, and jointly organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macao SAR Government and the China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation, concluded successfully on 7 July. The four-day event attracted over 12,000 visitors and more than 250 publishers and gourmet chefs from around the world. Over 10,000 books were exhibited and about 40% of the books were sold. On-site sales and advanced deposit were about MOP300,000. The book fair, themed “A Taste of Macao”, successfully created a grand gathering of Chinese and Portuguese literature by using books as a medium to gather friends from around the world, and achieved the desired result.

Announcement of the result of the winning works of the “Open Call for Artworks of Macao Artists 2019”
Organized by the Macao Museum of Art (MAM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the evaluation of entries for the “Open Call for Artworks of Macao Artists 2019” has been completed recently and a total of 220 pieces (sets) of entries from 148 applicants have been received. After the rigorous selection by the jury, 3 Jury Awards, 7 Distinction Awards and 66 pieces (sets) of shortlisted works were selected. The list of winners is as follows:

Various Traders and Renowned International Brands Gather at MFE: Enterprises Optimistic about the MFE Platform
The “Macao Franchise Expo 2019” (2019MFE) will be held from July 26 to 28, under the theme of “Brand Expansion Continues, Business Opportunities to be Seized”, offering both old and new line-ups of activities and exhibition areas. Thanks to the great effects achieved last year, many enterprises will continue their participation in this year’s event, expanding the area of their booths. Enterprises that have signed agreements during the MFE and opened branch stores in Macao acknowledge the positive role of the MFE platform for individuals with intentions to start or expand businesses.
