Lunar new year card on sale

Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will issue a new greeting card for Lunar Year of the Pig titled “The Year of the Pig brings good auspices”. This card will be available for sale at the General Post Office, all post offices and postal kiosks on 8th January, 2019.


Supplements for philatelic album of Macao 2018

Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will release the “Supplements for Philatelic Album of Macao 2018” on 8 January 2019, it will be available for sale at the Philatelic Shop of General Post Office and the Communications Museum. The album pages are pre-printed with all the stamps’ images of 2018. Your collections of stamps and souvenir sheets of 2018 can be put into the pre-printed pages for convenient collection.


Thematic pack “Chinese Zodiac”

Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will launch the thematic pack “Chinese Zodiac” on 18th January 2019. This pack comprises of the 12 sets of stamps and 12 souvenir sheets of the third series of Chinese Zodiac released by Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau from 2008 to 2019, together with the technical data.


Busking Programme offers an additional performing venue next year Applications and renewal for Busker Cards are open

The Busking Programme of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has been well-received since its launch. In order to strengthen community revitalisation and create a cultural atmosphere, provide more performing platforms for local arts and cultural practitioners and promote quality street performances, IC will offer a Busking point at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro in 2019 in addition to the existing three performing venues. This additional point will be available for Buskers to perform in the afternoon on weekends and mandatory holidays. In addition, IC is now accepting applications and renewal for the Busker Cards.

Please be informed that starting from 9:00a.m. on 10th January, (Thursday) 2019, the new label stamps “Lunar Year of the Pig” will be available for sale at the designated automatic stamp vending machines as below:

MPI 2019 Open Day on Saturday

The Macau Polytechnic Institute is ready to kick off a whole host of exciting and enriching activities during its annual Open Day scheduled for January 5 (Saturday) on the main campus at Gomez Street. Activities will include presentations by faculty and staff, sharing of learning experiences, teaching demonstrations, and fun games at booths. Through these events, prospective high school graduates, as well as people from all walks of life and the general public can expect to have a deeper understanding of the management philosophy and vision of MPI. The Open Day will provide young people aspiring to enroll into MPI's academic programs a golden opportunity to know more about MPI's teaching facilities, courses, teaching and research and, above all, the application process.


“Macao’s Lunar Year of the Pig” lucky ornament

To celebrate the coming Chinese New Year, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will issue a lucky ornament titled “Macao’s Lunar Year of the Pig”. It is engraved with laser techniques for highlighting our headquarters’ building and a thin wooden card with the wooden pig stamp image affixed on the other side. The unique design is certainly a precious and commemorative collectable. It will be available for sale on 5th January 2019 at the Philatelic Shop of General Post Office, Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office, Airport Post Office and the Communications Museum and from 7th January 2019 at “Rua do Campo” Post Office. The selling price is MOP15.00.
