“Art Macao” presents exhibitions across the city this summer

As a mega international cultural and artistic event in Macao, “Art Macao” has brought an immersive cultural atmosphere to the entire city as a gallery and an art garden, highlighting the enthusiasm of the government, enterprises, artists, and the public to participate in the cultural development of the city. In the midst of the pandemic, the hotels and integrated resorts and enterprises organized different programmes for the “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2021” this year, bringing a number of key exhibitions that offer creative surprises and aesthetic delights.

“Art Macao”, a mega international cultural and artistic event in Macao, will be held from July to October this year. Under the patronage of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture and the Secretariat for Economy and Finance, the event is organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Macao Government Tourism Office, and co-organized by the Education and Youth Development Bureau, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, MGM, Sands China Ltd., SJM RESORTS, LIMITED, Wynn Macau, Limited, and Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, with the participation of various creative cities and local higher education institutions, as well as the support of the Municipal Affairs Bureau and Air Macau. “Art Macao” is held on a biennale basis. This edition of the “Art Macao” is divided into several sections: Main Exhibition, Special Exhibition of Resorts and Hotels, Creative City Pavilion, Public Art Exhibition, Selected Works by Local Artists and Collateral Exhibition, featuring 30 art exhibitions in 25 locations, bringing an immersive cultural atmosphere to the entire city as a gallery and an art garden, and presenting a movable feast of the city.

Join Hands for New Development of International Infrastructure Co-operation The 12th IIICF to Be Held in July

Macao Chinese Orchestra presents Season Closing Concert Emerging and renowned musicians join hands to perform wonderful music

The Macao Chinese Orchestra (OCHM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, presents the 2020-2021 Season Closing Concert, “Inheritance, Development” – 100 Years of Chinese Music, on 30 July (Friday), at 8pm, at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium. Led by its Music Director and Principal Conductor, Liu Sha, the Orchestra will count with the cooperation of famous Huqin performer Jiang Kemei and young yangqin performer Wang Yujue. With these emerging and renowned musicians gathered in the concert, music aficionados will enjoy the legacy and development of Chinese music and spend an unforgettable evening.
