CE meets Portuguese PM for talks on elevating Macao-Portugal cooperation

The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, and the Portuguese Prime Minister, Mr António Costa, said they believed Macao and Portugal would develop even closer ties and bilateral cooperation would be elevated to a new level.

After the repairing construction, the Maritime Museum reopens today (15th).The Museum opens from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closes on Tuesdays.






MoU signed with Imperial College London, UM to launch 1+3 PhD scheme

The University of Macau (UM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Imperial College London (Imperial) to forge linkage and collaboration between the two universities. The MoU was signed by Prof Yonghua Song, rector of UM, and Prof Ian Walmsley, provost of Imperial College London. The two universities agreed to develop joint research and education activities in areas of mutual interest as well as to promote staff mobility.


Bright prospects for Macao and Portugal via ‘Belt and Road’, says CE

Macao and Portugal are to work more closely together in order to seize opportunities arising from the “Belt and Road” initiative. Such effort will boost the sides’ confidence that reciprocal benefits from Macao-Portugal cooperation could be even brighter than before.


Macao Creative Pavilion at the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair opens this Thursday

The 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) will be held from 16 to 20 May at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Cultural Industries Fund of the Macao SAR Government jointly set up the Macao Creative Pavilion and organise the participation of Macao’s cultural and creative companies, with the aim of promoting related communitary creativity and the culinary culture of Macao.
