Portuguese Corner in UM library opens today

In response to the national strategy to position Macao as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries and to meet the needs in Portuguese language education and research, the University of Macau (UM) established a Portuguese Corner in its library and held an opening ceremony today (26 October). Tam Chon Weng, secretary for social affairs and culture; and Yonghua Song, rector of UM, attended the ceremony.









IC announced the list of entrants for the second review of the “2018 Subsidy Programme for Fashion Design on Sample Making”

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has recently completed the initial review of the “2018 Subsidy Programme for Fashion Design on Sample Making”. A total of 21 applications were received, and the adjudicating panel selected 15 entrants for the second review. Each candidate eligible for the second review will be granted a subsidy up to a maximum amount of MOP170,000 to cover expenses of sample making and production of promotional materials.


Identification Services Bureau launched multi-service counters

The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) endeavors to provide Macao citizens with convenient services in line with the policy objective of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government. Starting from today (26th October 2018), DSI officially launched multi-service counters for citizens to lodge application for various identification documents in only one counter.
