Consumer Council released latest ‘Supermarket price survey’ Surveyed spots included supermarkets in N. Sra. de Fátima Parish

Consumer Council conducted its third ‘Supermarket price survey’ on 13 August for the implementation of Section 2b), Article 10, Law 4/95/M of 12 June. Surveyed locations included 13 supermarkets in Toi San, Ilha Verde and Fai Chi Kei areas in N. Sra. de Fátima Parish.


Contingency arrangements made by IACM to manage its greening facilities during tropical cyclones

If “Tropical Cyclone Signal no. 8 or above” is changed to “Tropical Cyclone Signal no. 3”, the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) will conduct inspection and assessment of all the greening and leisure facilities under its management to safeguard public safety. To avoid influence on its front line staff to carry out inspection of the places and emergency actions, the facilities will be closed to the public during the period. For those places that are equipped with gates or main entrances and exits, a notice sign will be put there to inform the public that they are closed temporarily. Members of the public should take note of it and consider using the facilities after the “list of reopened facilities” is announced.


Authorities oversee 580 million patacas in subsidies for post-typhoon relief

The Macao Foundation has approved over the past year some 580 million patacas in subsidies to assist residents in dealing with damage and loss caused by Typhoon Hato.

Small and medium-sized enterprise credit statistics – First half of 2018

According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, the outstanding balance of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) loans recorded growth in the first half of 2018, with the share of SME loans to major industries remained broadly stable. On the other hand, newly-approved SME credit retreated.
