Commemorative postmark cancellation service of “World Heritage – The 13th Anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao”

To celebrate World Heritage – The 13th Anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at the space in front of the Shop S3 of Anim’Arte NAM VAN, from 14:30 to 17:30 on 15th July 2018 to provide the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “World Heritage – The 13th Anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao”.


Government to give victims of explosion and their families appropriate assistance: Secretary for Security

The Secretary for Security, Mr Wong Sio Chak, this dawn visited the Conde S. Januario Hospital to meet the family of the woman who died in the explosion at the Pak Lei Building on Tuesday night (4 July), and to visit those injured. The suspected cause of the incident was a cylinder containing liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the “Encounter in Macao – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries” offers a series of events in July, of which the “China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Film Festival”, officially opened on 3 July with the screening of the opening film Wrath Of Silence at the Macao Cultural Centre, under enthusiastic and lively atmosphere.




CE to continue tour of Greater Bay Area cities

The Chief Executive, Mr Chui Sai On, will lead a Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government delegation on a continued tour taking in cities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area). The latest stops are to be Zhaoqing, Foshan, Huizhou and Dongguan. The visits will take place from 9 July to 11 July inclusive.
