Macao joins the world to promote Sustainable Gastronomy Day for the first time

This year, Macao joins the rest of the world for the first time to promote the Sustainable Gastronomy Day on 18 June. Through different channels, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) shares with residents and visitors the significance and objectives that come with this international observance. In tandem with this, MGTO seizes the occasion to promote Macao’s new status as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy which came last year and encourage industry operators to carry on Macao’s culinary heritage with creativity as they join hands in contributing to the sustainable development of Macao’s tourism industry and the world.







UM’s global leadership development programme now open for enrollment

Enrollment is now open for the fifth module of the Global Leadership Development Programme Series: International Integrated Resort Management, which is jointly organised by the University of Macau’s (UM) Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) and Faculty of Business Administration (FBA). The programme will take place in Kyushu and Nagasaki, Japan, from 21 July to 23 July. Scholars and industry experts from Macao and Japan will give lectures and exchange ideas with the participants during the programme. Industry practitioners are welcome to enroll for the programme.
